How to Get Rid of Debt

True story. Last night I preached at Bethesda Baptist Church on the topic of debt. As I was nearing the end of the sermon, I answered the question, “How can you get out of debt?” The powerpoint presentation inadvertently skipped ahead to the title of the closing song by Tomlin, “Take My Life.” Needless to say there was some laughter. No, people, suicide is not an option to avoid your financial obligations!
